This page explains how to request deletion of personal data that LUKKEY may hold through website forms, support requests, developer app testing, social login integrations, or other account-related communications.
LUKKEY hardware wallet private keys, recovery phrases, wallet secrets, and self-custody data are designed to remain under the user's local control. LUKKEY cannot delete data it never receives or stores.
How to request deletion
- Email [email protected] with the subject line: Data deletion request.
- Include the email address, social account, or support ticket reference you used with LUKKEY so we can identify the record.
- Do not send seed phrases, private keys, wallet addresses used for self-custody, passwords, or recovery credentials.
- We will confirm the request, verify ownership where needed, and delete or anonymize eligible records within a reasonable period.
What may be deleted
Eligible records may include contact details submitted through forms, newsletter or product update preferences, support correspondence, and data associated with optional social platform integrations.
What may be retained
- Records we are legally required to retain, such as transaction, tax, fraud-prevention, or compliance records.
- Backups that are automatically overwritten under normal retention cycles.
- Information that LUKKEY never collected or cannot access, including private keys, recovery phrases, and locally stored wallet data.
